Origin

Tim originally introduced us to The Fat Man on July 20th, 2007. In the video, he wanted to show off his “supreme fatness”.

After this, he continued to post videos of him binge eating an extreme amount of food, such as five double hamburgers from McDonalds, sticks of butter, 2L bottles of soda pop and much more. He would also release videos of him jiggling his fat, and comparing the size of his tits to that of his cat.

The Fat Man also did an exclusive interview on the show. He keyed the term "Slideshow".

Retirement Yo-Yo

Toward the end of 2007, Fat Man decided that he wanted to start taking care of himself, going on medication to control his mental problems and start going on a diet. A few videos popped up of him eating healthy food. Then, he decided to retire completely and promised that in a year’s time he would be back as a thin man. This was far from the truth, as in the new year, he came out of retirement with new videos, one including a Rock Band party. Apparently tired of being a joke he predictably retired, but as was expected, un-retired within a week, asking to be called Chris as opposed to Fat Man. Predictably, he went on to retire again. This is when Tim found a new Fat Man. He then un-retired and was back at it again with more than 10 new videos. Newer ones include him taking a bath in Glorious 720p. He has deleted his old account with the original videos, but if you search YouTube you can find them. Although it is as yet unconfirmed, it is believed that Fat Man currently holds a Guinness World Record for Most Retirements.

Fat man retired and came back again around February 20-22 and announced that he was undergoing mental health treatment. During one memorable video series he claimed to be a prophet hearing the voice of God. Over the course of a few hours he posted subsequent videos detailing his gradual realization that he was not a prophet and was just hearing voices because he's schizophrenic.

Diabetes

Chris is a diabetic and has complained of severe symptoms during his eating binges. A clip Tim played in May of 2010 featured the Fat Man complaining that his eyes hurt and he was having trouble seeing as a result of the sugary food he was eating. Chris has been on a series of medications for his psychological issues, some of which have the side effect of causing weight gain. It's theorized that the "Fat Man" persona is in fact a classic "cry for help" in the form of a prolonged suicide attempt.

Risperdal

Chris has mentioned being on Risperdal. You're not supposed to take it if you have diabetes. "risperidone may raise your blood sugar". This fact has lead to speculation that Chris' doctors are trying to kill him. His behavior on youtube is typical of a sever adverse reaction to Risperdal.

According to drugs.com:

"Risperdal is an antipsychotic medication. It is an "atypical antipsychotic". ... used to treat schizophrenia and symptoms of bipolar disorder (manic depression). It is also used in autistic children to treat symptoms of irritability. ... not for use in psychotic conditions that are related to dementia. Risperdal has caused fatal heart attack and stroke in older adults with dementia-related conditions."

"Avoid getting too cold, or becoming overheated or dehydrated. Drink plenty of fluids, especially in hot weather and during exercise. It is easier to become dangerously overheated and dehydrated while you are taking this medication. Risperdal can cause side effects that may impair your thinking or reactions. ... Avoid using other medicines that make you sleepy (such as cold medicine, pain medication, muscle relaxers, and medicine for seizures, depression or anxiety). They can add to sleepiness caused by Risperdal."

"Avoid drinking alcohol. It can increase some of the side effects of Risperdal. Stop using this medication and call your doctor at once if you have fever, stiff muscles, confusion, sweating, fast or uneven heartbeats, restless muscle movements in your face or neck, tremor (uncontrolled shaking), trouble swallowing, feeling light-headed, or fainting."

"There may be other drugs not listed that can affect this medication. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter medications you use. This includes vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and drugs prescribed by other doctors. Do not start using a new medication without telling your doctor."
